PSV QTec 3D Scanning Vibrometers are state-of-the art for noise and vibration measurement in research and development. Using three independent scanning heads they deliver the full information on all vibrational directions. PSV QTec 3D determines operational deflection shapes and Eigenmodes for NVH, acoustics, structural dynamics, ultrasonics, and FEM validation. The high frequency version up to 25 MHz extends the application range to non-destructive evaluation (NDE) research. Every PSV QTec integrates perfectly into the CAE world providing interfaces to 3D geometries, modal analysis and automation. 

PSV QTec 3D Scanning Vibrometers are available as a compact laptop version or as a practical rack-type workstation.

The patented QTec® technology enhances the standard infrared (SWIR) laser based vibrometer using a heterodyne multi-path interferometer concept. It provides highest optical sensitivity for high-fidelity measurements on all surfaces, which significantly reduces testing time – even on dark, biological, rotating or moving objects. This safe laser technology is perfect for challenging applications also on distant targets. Automatic 3D alignment

New machine-vision techniques make the non-contact PSV-3D Scanning Vibrometers as easy to use as any handy single-point laser vibration sensor while minimizing training needs. For high fidelity data especially from high frequency tests on medical tools as well as for measuring stress and strain, automatically aligning the 3 superimposed lasers is the key. Here, the machine-vision based feature “3D alignment scan” guarantees µm-precision in X, Y and Z enabling faster test setups and highly reliable measurement results.
