Spectrometer-based analyses at several measurement points
The Multiplexer solution allows the user to perform spectrometer-based measurements with several and even different probes at various points during the process. This means that different evaluation solutions can be used at these spots. This instrumentation enables flexible and affordable integration in customized measurement scenarios for a wide range of applications.
- Cost efficiency
- 1 spectrometer – many measurement points
- Flexibility
- Flexible probe connection via optical switch
- Performance
- Fast switching times for ultra-fast measurements
From single spectrometer to multi-point setups
Optical multiplexers are used in NIR spectroscopy (near-infrared spectroscopy) to connect and operate multiple measurement points or probes with a single spectrometer. They are therefore used for temporal or sequential switching between different optical channels.
Polytec multiplexers are designed for seamless integration into PAS spectrometers. They support both laboratory and industrial environments and can be combined with different probes. This enables multi-channel operation and reduces the need for multiple spectrometer devices.
