Narrow-band UVC disinfection light sources
UVC excimer light sources generate targeted, narrowband UV radiation at 222 nm for microbial inactivation. The Excelitas product family includes both linear excimer lamps for flexible integration and compact modules with integrated optics.
These long-life 222 nm UVC light sources are suitable for developing stand-alone disinfection systems as well as for combination with other disinfection technologies.

222 nm UVC Excimer linear lamps
Excelitas linear UVC excimer lamps generate narrowband UVC radiation at 222 nm and provide long-life light sources for disinfection applications and customized UV systems. Their linear geometry provides coaxial light emission, allowing the radiation to be efficiently collected using suitable reflectors or utilized for uniform irradiation.
The electrodes are isolated from the plasma discharge to minimize electrode wear and provide long operating lifetimes of several thousand hours. In addition to a range of standard sizes, customized coaxial lamp geometries are available to meet specific form factor and application requirements.

222 nm UVC Excimer modules
Excelitas UVC excimer modules combine 222 nm excimer lamps with an integrated reflector in a rugged, compact unit. Unlike individual linear lamps, the module geometry provides uniform, directional emission in a single plane, making the modules particularly suitable for targeted surface treatment and defined irradiation areas.
The modules feature transverse discharge and external electrodes for long lamp lifetimes of several thousand operating hours. Standard and customized sizes provide flexibility for different applications: smaller modules are well suited to prototyping, compact work areas or tiling multiple modules to cover larger surfaces. Larger modules enable the treatment of larger areas while minimizing the number of power supplies required.
