A stable, highly sensitive internal temperature sensor that is calibrated independently of the blackbody is used to control the blackbody radiators. To recalibrate, simply replace the removable sensor with a freshly calibrated one, which can be done by the user in just a few minutes.
Product overview
Large emitter surface
The advanced architecture of the SR-800N ControlMaster sets a new standard for precision and homogeneity in blackbody technology.
Temperature measurement and calibration are performed in the head itself and then transmitted digitally to the ControlMaster controller. The result is highly accurate, stable, reliable, and NIST traceable. The temperature is controlled by easily removable sensors that the user can replace in a matter of minutes. Our factory-supplied replacement sensors provide efficient recalibration of the system with a 12-month service warranty.
Alternatively, the blackbody radiator can also be recalibrated using the CK-800R calibration kit. The system is available in 10 variants with different temperature ranges and apertures from 2 inches in diameter to 40 x 40 inches.

High-temperature blackbody with large emitter surface
The SR-800HT is a high-temperature blackbody IR calibration source that offers excellent uniformity, stability, and accuracy. The emitter is extremely reliable and has the flexibility required to test a wide range of IR-based systems. The blackbody's exceptional emissivity is achieved through radiometric correction.
The system is available in four versions with different aperture sizes ranging from 4 x 4 to 35 x 35 inches.

Fully integrated and compact with large emitter surface
The SR-33 family is a series of compact blackbody radiators that combine the emitter head and controller in a single housing. They are ideal for applications such as NUC for thermal imaging cameras, as a reference for scientific and industrial measurements, and for on-site calibration of commercial and medical applications at airports and laboratories.
The SR-33 is lightweight and portable. Its rugged construction allows it to be used in the field as well as in industrial and scientific environments. Two aperture sizes are available (4 x 4 and 7 x 7 inches). The system is user-friendly with a bright display and 6 preset temperatures for use in harsh environments. The preset temperatures can be programmed on site via a laptop. The blackbody is efficient, cost-effective, NIST traceable, and operates without connection cables.

Spherical aperture and large emitter surface
The advanced architecture of the SR-800N-SE's ControlMaster sets a new standard for accuracy and uniformity in blackbodies with large emitter surfaces. Temperature measurement and calibration are performed in the emitter head itself and transmitted digitally to the controller. The result is a more accurate, stable, flexible, and compact system that delivers reliable NIST-traceable results.
The SR-800N-SE can be operated as a stand-alone unit or integrated into a larger test system. It is available in three different aperture diameters: 4, 7, and 12 inches. The spherical emitter also allows calibration of imagers with very large fields of view. The adjustment of the head geometry allows a wide range of apertures and fields of view. Temperature control is provided by removable sensors that can be easily replaced by the user in a matter of minutes. Replacing them with factory-calibrated sensors ensures easy recalibration for another full year. Users who prefer to perform the calibrations themselves can do so with the CK-800R calibration kit.
