About NDE-2026
In line with the conference theme, “Innovation for Strategic and Economic Excellence,” specialized tracks will cover critical sectors such as Defence & Aerospace, Renewable Energy, and Industry at Large—including Oil & Gas, Energy & Power, Metals & Materials, Manufacturing, Third-Party Inspection, and Transportation (Automobile, Railways, & Shipping). These sessions aim to advance the frontiers of NDE science while addressing current technical challenges and future R&D roadmaps. Furthermore, to empower the next generation, we are extending a unique opportunity to over 500+ students to experience the state-of-the-art "Deep Tech" industry first-hand.
About AeroNDT 2026
Non-Destructive Testing and Evaluation (NDT&E) is one of the major requirements related to the complete lifecycle of aerostructures. Almost all the components have to pass through various Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) quality assurance procedures and need to be inspected by NDT at defined intervals. For damage tolerant design used in aviation, NDT is a prerequisite. Appropriate use of NDT guarantees safety in aerospace and is thus a subject of highest attention. Although aerospace industries have to clearly stick to certified NDT procedures, there is a large amount of technology being currently developed within the engineering science discipline, which is worth discussions with respect to their application potential.
Discover how Laser Doppler Vibrometry enables precise, non-contact vibration measurement for non-destructive testing, structural evaluation and damage detection.
Visit Polytec to learn how you can:
- Visualize ultrasonic and Lamb wave propagation across a component
- Support the localization of defects in composites and aerospace structures
- Perform full-field vibration and modal analysis without attaching sensors
- Avoid mass loading on lightweight, delicate or small test objects
- Measure components from a safe distance, including difficult-to-access surfaces
- Validate structural health monitoring methods and numerical models
