High-Speed curing for optical fibers
The OmniCure AC9225-F and Phoseon Fiber Curing systems are specifically designed for high-speed UV curing of protective coatings on optical fibers. Fiber-optimized optics deliver high UV intensity precisely to the fiber for efficient and reliable curing at high production speeds. The systems combine long-life UV LED technology with precise process control and flexible integration into fiber draw towers, providing efficient alternatives to conventional UV curing technologies.
Optical fiber curing systems
Phoseon fiber – Ultra-high-intensity air or water-cooled curing for fibers
The Phoseon Fiber Curing System is designed for high-speed curing of protective coatings on optical fibers. Its fiber-optimized UV LED source and patented three-part reflector focus UV energy around the entire circumference of the fiber, increasing irradiance at the fiber by 20% for faster processing speeds.
Available with air- or water-cooled light sources delivering up to 30 W/cm², the system combines precise process control with easy integration and retrofitting into existing fiber draw towers.

AC9225-F – High-intensity air-cooled curing for optical fibers
The OmniCure AC9225-F is specifically designed for high-speed curing of optical fiber coatings. Its innovative optical design optimizes UV delivery onto the fiber, achieving up to 80 W/cm² irradiance on the fiber in a standard face-to-face configuration.
The scalable, air-cooled system supports higher process speeds without complex integration changes. A replaceable outer window simplifies maintenance, while an LED lifetime of over 40,000 hours and up to 60% lower power consumption compared with traditional arc lamps help reduce operating costs.
