Low-noise, high-speed recordings for real-time applications

The SWIR cameras of the C-RED series are ultra-fast, low-noise shortwave infrared cameras that can be operated with 600 frames / sec and less than 60 electron readout noise. To achieve this, a 640 x 512 InGaAs PIN photodiode detector with 15 µm pixel pitch for high resolution is integrated, which has an electronic shutter with integration pulses shorter than 5 µs.

The C-RED 2 was developed for high-end SWIR applications in low light and offers new possibilities for science, research and industry. The C-RED 2 ER offers an extended wavelength with a quantum efficiency of over 70% (from 1.4 to 2.0 µm), which enables even deeper infrared and opens up new possibilities for astronomy, life sciences and industry. The C-RED 3 was specially developed for short exposure times and is considered the fastest uncooled VGA camera for SWIR imaging. Autonomous and compact, the C-RED 3 is also available as an OEM version.

The uncooled SWIR InGaAs area scan cameras impress with their maximum performance in an extremely compact design.

SWaP cameras (small size, weight and power) are specially developed for applications in which, in addition to robustness, minimal size, mass and energy efficiency are particularly important. The Polytec snapshot cameras with CameraLink interface are characterized by an excellent price-performance ratio and are free from ITAR export restrictions.
