Hyperspectral imaging, in particular, opens up new horizons both in the quality control of agricultural products and in food production. The multispectral analysis of chemical composition goes far beyond the possibilities of classic machine vision. Hyperspectral imaging is already being used in field crop harvesting, in poultry production and in quality assurance in food production.
