Laser vibrometry focusing on the small details

Characterize small and delicate structures in a non-contact way. Analyze vibration, acoustics and dynamics. Measure biomedical samples, electronics components and microstructures like MEMS by light, without mass-loading, and from DC up to the GHz range on a large bandwidth. Laser vibrometers focus on the small details, measuring deflection shapes for model validation. They assess the frequency response and determine resonance frequency, impulse response and Q factor. No matter how big or small – Polytec vibrometers measure it!

Scanning Vibrometers adopt to your measurement needs

Whatever question regarding vibration measurement drives you, there is a PSV Polytec Scanning Vibrometer to provide the answer – for frequencies from DC to 25 MHz, capturing vibrational velocities of 0.01 µm/s up to 30 m/s, studying samples from micro to macro. The precise helium-neon laser (HeNe) with its small laser measuring spot is suitable for measurements on extremely fine structures and even measures in and through water and other transparent media. For challenging measurements on technical surfaces, on dark, biological, moving or rotating test structures, the new PSV QTec Scanning Vibrometer is the ideal choice.

Choose between solid rack type or flexible and portable notebook version. Whenever your requirements grow, benefit from upgrades and options or expand it to a full 3D scanning vibration measurement system.
