Polytec began distributing electro-optical and IR test systems more than 50 years ago. At the Eurodefence Expo, the focus is on electro-optical measurement technology, such as multisensor test systems, threat simulation for missile warning systems, spectroradiometers for measuring spectral signatures, and blackbody emitters for calibrating and testing infrared imagers.
In addition, Polytec will showcase fiber-optic sensor systems for measuring temperature and strain profiles.
Another highlight at the booth is our portfolio of Laser Doppler Vibrometers for non-contact, high-precision vibration measurements. The optical measurement technology visualizes vibrations, identifies critical resonances, and helps reduce unwanted noise, vibrations, and flutter. This enables engineers to optimize the performance, robustness, and reliability of defence and security systems.
