Non-contact vibration measurement up to 2.4 GHz
The UHF-120 Ultra High Frequency Vibrometer is characterized by a significantly extended measurement bandwidth – enabling high-resolution and full-field analysis of out-of-plane vibration frequencies measuring up to 2.4 GHz. The UHF-120’s high lateral resolution of less than 1 µm is decisive particularly for visualizing the surface waves of SAW (surface acoustic wave) components. Another application involves validating the behaviour of BAW (bulk acoustic wave) components and imaging ultrasonic transducers that work in the ultra high frequency range.
Capture transient events in real-time
Measurements with the UHF-120 are broadband and contain vibration information across a large frequency range, so resonance frequencies are identified quickly and reliably in a single pass. Full-field measurements are performed by using the software to scan the sample via the integrated, high-precision xy table. The tried-and-tested PSV software offers clear visualization of the measurement results.
