NIR (Near InfraRed) spectroscopy offers industry and research the opportunity to make quick and reliable measurements for process control without time-consuming preparation of samples. For example, there are applications in the chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, plastics and metal processing industries, in the food, animal feed, paper or agricultural industries.
The method is used in process control and in the laboratory for qualitative and quantitative determination in solid, liquid and gaseous matrices. Polytec PSS Spectrometers
Polytec’s PSS Spectrometers are available either in a tabletop housing or in a 19” rack-mount unit. They can be connected using fiber-optics to various measurement setups, for example immersion probes or flow cells.
