NIR (Near InfraRed) spectroscopy offers industry and research the opportunity to make quick and reliable measurements for process control without time-consuming preparation of samples. For example, there are applications in the chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, plastics and metal processing industries, in the food, animal feed, paper or agricultural industries.
The method is used in process control and in the laboratory for qualitative and quantitative determination in solid, liquid and gaseous matrices. The quick Polytec diode array spectrometers with fiber-optic probes cover a wide range of applications, from the visible right into the extended NIR measurement range.

PSS Software is suitable for hardware operation, data management, method development and chemometric predictions.
