Mirror set for measurements in difficult-to-access areas. The mirror setcomprises 4 (PSV-A-MIR+: 5) high-quality coated mirrors plus magnetic basemirror holders.
An optional PDA-based wireless control is available for added setup convenience, e.g. for accurate targeting of alignment and reference points. A PDA (mobile handheld computer) can be used to remotely control the PDA thereby supports the same functions as the handset PSV-Z-051. The connection with the PSV PC is made using WLAN.
Laser-based distance sensor for the direct acquisition of 3-D geometry data. The Geometry Scan Unit comprises an optical distance sensor and full software integration with the PSV program (version 8.2 onwards) and it extends the capabilities of the PSV-I-400 scanning head to work as a 3-D geometry acquisition system. Attached to the PSV-I-400 scanning head it measures the x, y and z component of every defined measurement point or reference point. The Geometry Scan Unit includes software modules with the following features:
On smaller objects a software solution based on image processing is availble for PSV-400-3D systems: VideoTriangulation.
Not available for the PSV-400-B Basic Scanning Vibrometer.
Designed for applications such as brake squeal measurements. This unit activates the gate input of the PSV-400 if a noise exceeds a certain threshold in a defined frequency band (band pass filter). The scanning measurement starts when the noise is present and pauses when no noise within the band is present. Easy adjustment of the parameters and non-volatile memory for settings.
Parameters: center frequency 500 Hz – 15 kHz; bandwidth 10% - 50% of center frequency ; threshold 2 mV – 20 mV.
