Upgrades and Software

The modular design of the MSV-100 makes adding upgrades and accessories simple and straightforward. It can grow to be a full-field MSV-400 Microscope Scanning Vibrometer should more advanced requirements be needed (see MSV-400 data sheet).

For convenient beam positioning with video image control, the MSV-Z-DAC Scanner Control (16-bit DAC PCI board and Software) is recommended. Polytec can provide a turnkey Data Management System with both ScannerControl and VibSoft installed, tested and ready for advanced data acquisition. The Data Management System is based on either a PC-I Industrial or a PC-D Desktop computer system. Differential measurements can be performed by using the OFV-552 Dual-Fiber Sensor Head, an additional OFV-071 Manual Positioner and the OFV-072-B Second Beam Splitter.
