La vibrométrie laser à balayage est un outil essentiel pour l'optimisation NVH. L'acquisition des caractéristiques vibratoires d'un échantillon sont réalisées en conditions opérationnelles et les résultats sont à l'image des vibrations réelles. Aucune masse ajoutée n'influence la mesure, car la mesure est sans contact.

NVH often deals with lightweight structures. If contact transducers are involved e.g. in Experimental Modal Analysis the influence of the sensor mass has to be taken into account. 

Optical sensing is reactionless. Mass loading is thus no issue in optical vibration sensing. Especially when probing lightweight structures in aerospace and automotive full field scanning vibrometry delivers unambiguous results. The verification of Finite Element Models in a model updating process delivers better results, if transfer functions and mode shapes are measured uninfluenced.
