We listened to our users and developed a free viewer that can display, visualize and manipulate Scanning Vibrometer data graphically in Microsoft Office applications. Now any number of colleagues can see the outstanding data taken on Polytec systems as quickly as possible, on web pages, in PowerPoint presentations or any other office documents.
Polytec Scan Viewer is an ActiveXControl which can be embedded into Microsoft Office applications and Internet Explorer; the Scan Viewer is also available as an independent application. The Scan Viewer offers you the same high performance presentation and animation options that come standard with the Polytec Scanning Vibrometer software.

Scan Viewer requiers the Polytec Common Runtime which must be previously installed.
Should a message appear during the installation indicating an insufficient version of the Windows Installer, please run first the respective file in the Windows Installer directory.

Scan Viewer Version 1.31
Polytec Scan Viewer 1.31 is a full installation package that replaces Scan Viewer 1.3.
Please uninstall Scan Viewer 1.3, before you install the Scan Viewer 1.31.
Under Windows 2000 and Windows XP, Scan Viewer 1.31 requires the .NET Framework 2.0 SP1.
Please download and install .NET Framework before installing Scan Viewer 1.31.

Please note: It is not recommended to install the Polytec Scan Viewer side-by-side to a PSV prior version 8.5 nor a VibSoft prior version 4.5 nor a PMA prior version 2.4, because this can damage these applications.
